EVENT INFORMATION

Online entry fee
£20.00 - There is a reduction of £2 for anyone affiliated to UK Athletics or TRA.
Entry limited to 300, no entries on the day.

Parking:
On arrival at Kirkby Malham turn right (opposite Victoria Pub), sign posted “Hanlith”. After 50 metres, turn left into “Event parking” field.

Registration:
From 07.00am at Kirkby Malham Parish Hall, registration closes at 08.50am

Race Numbers:
Race Numbers & Si Cards - Will be issued on the day. Race numbers must be worn on the chest, not cut down and be visible to Marshals.

Race Start time:
9.00am - Please allow sufficient time for registration which will close 10 minutes prior to the start time.

Course Marking.
Flagged throughout the entire route.

Check points:
There are a total of 4 manned checkpoints on the route.

Crossing Highway
There will be a Marshal at Chapel Gate Road and at the top of the Cove road to assist with crossing the road. Please follow the highway code when approaching the road.

Refreshments
Hot food and drinks will be available at the finish in Kirkby Malham. Water and Bananas or similar energy food will be available at checkpoint 2, water will be available at checkpoint 4.
Please bring your own water bottle / hydration system or cup. To limit our environmental impact, we are not providing plastic cups at the checkpoints.

TERRAIN
The route is undulating (hilly!) with 1650 feet of ascent incorporating a mix of hard-packed rocky trails, boggy sections, limestone rocks and grassy tracks. Fell running or trail running shoes are essential.

RULES
Entry is available to trail and fell runners of 18 years or over at 1st January 2019.
Unfortunetly dogs are not allowed.
The Route visits 4 checkpoints within 3 hours 15 minutes. Please refer to "Route Maps" tab for checkpoint cut off times.
No liability is accepted by the organisers for injury, damage or loss sustained by any entrant before, during or after the event, as already stipulated within the terms and conditions of Si Entries online application.
